A high-ranking Russian general has been declared dead following an blast in Moscow, according to official statements.
The incident occurred on Monday morning when an bomb planted beneath a vehicle detonated, leading to the death of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov.
Sarvarov held the position of the head of the armed forces' operational training department.
